• Extraction and Purification of “Lactucaxanthin” from Lettuce
• Study on “Effect of Lactucaxanthin on activity of salivary Alpha-amylase- in vitro and in vivo model”


• Worked as “Quality Control Trainee” in International Flavors and Fragrances India Ltd, Chennai. Duration - March' 2013 to June' 2013.

Project Profile

• Undertaken a two months project work of “Biodegradation of Nonyl phenol ethoxylate by Microaerophilic Bacterial Consortium”. With the guidance of Dr.B.Umamaheshwari, Central Leather Research Institute (CSIR-CLRI), Chennai.

• Undertaken a 9 months project work of “Screening of Biologically Active peptides from different food sources”. With the guidance of Dr. Sharmila Anishetty, Anna University, Chennai.

Inplant Trainings

• Attended 5 days training on ISO 22000 Food Safety Management systems DNV.GL

• Attended awareness workshop on Intellectual Property Rights – CIPR, Anna University
